EHS Course Guide

Elma High School offers diversity and several opportunities to meet the needs of all students. At Elma High School we are working hard to prepare all young adults to be career and college ready. 
College in the High School
  • EHS students can earn Central Washington University credit in Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and English.
  • We currently offer ENG 101 (5 credits), ENG 102 (5 credits), MATH 153, 154, 172, & 173 (5 credits each)
  • No traveling to Olympia or Aberdeen
  • No books to purchase
College Readiness
  • EHS students have all classes necessary for college entrance at their convenience with quality staff
  • World Language, 4 years of English, 3 years of Lab Science with Chemistry & Physics/POE satisfying Algebra based science, 3-4 years of Math from Algebra to Calculus, STEM infused into science and career & technical education classes. 
Career & Technical Education
  • Are you college bound or career bound? Career & Technical Education (CTE) has diverse opportunities to help all young adults prepare for life beyond high school.
  • EHS students can dive into Engineering, Robotics,Marketing, Business, Sports Medicine, Multi Media Production, Construction, Commercial Art, Leadership,  Environmental Science, Agriculture, Welding, Aircraft Manufacturing, Engineering, and more.
  • Teens can build a competitive resume with student leadership opportunities in FBLA, Skills USA, FFA, Robotics, Multi-Media Club, HOSA, and more.
  • Students can earn college credit in select CTE courses. Elma High School articulates with state community colleges to meet college course work requirements. If the student earns a "B" or better, they can be awarded a college credit. See course guide for more information.
